3rd Fintech and Innovations Course ends in Accra

Participants of the 3rd Fintech and Innovations Course in Accra

Knowledge Innovations and the Ghana Fintech and Payments Association ran the third Fintech and Innovations Course in Accra, in partnership with the Global Centre for Fintech Innovations, which provided the course certification.

Twenty-one participants from the public and private sectors took the course, which ran over two days and was delivered in hybrid form.

SIC Life Insurance, Mikgold & Associates Ltd, B Systems, Penplusbytes, Hexagram, Prudential Bank, Escripts-Solutions and Mastercard Foundation sent participants.

Among the sessions were the legal and regulatory framework for fintech, cyber security risks, and fintech and innovation from the Ghanaian perspective.

Eric Nsarkoh, Head of Engineering at Stanbic Bank, facilitated, along with King Carl Tornam Duho of Dataking Research Lab, Richard Nunekpeku of Sustineri Attorneys, Prince Adu of Innovare, and Henry Cobblah of iSolveAfrica and Skillmine Africa. Martin Kwame Awagah, President of the Ghana Fintech and Payments Association, and Dr Kwami Ahiabenu of Knowledge Innovations also facilitated.

The next edition was scheduled for 21 to 23 March 2023.
